Horses
Blind Horse with Cushings disease

rebeca_horse1rebeca_horse2 BOB

Bob is one of the strongest and most determined horses alive! He’s always happy to see me, knowing that he will get to come out of his stall to graze or be lead around. Up until his being retired a little under a year ago he was always happy to come out for a ride and would pull on his hackamore hoping I would just let him run. What I didn’t mention is that Bob is 35 years old and completely blind. He also has Cushing’s disease.  Bob was put casino online on System Saver when he was about 32 for a cough that he had developed. The cough was quickly resolved, but System Saver also had some other amazing results.  Bob began to put on some of the weight that he had lost from his age, while rapidly regaining some of the energy that he had lost. Time and time again we would see that if he ran out of the System Saver he would start to look older and weaker, and his overall well-being was just different. But once he got back on it he would gain some weight and he would pick right back up again, and while he was retired mainly because of his age I swear that System Saver is what has kept him alive for all this time. Bob has always had the heart of a young horse and thanks to System Saver he now has a body that can keep up.

25-Year-Old Arabian maintaining health

xan-grabs-at-gryphon-who-re xan_waves_lips_small XAN
My horse, Xan, born in 1984, gets System Saver.  He has remained sound and active.  In combination with a good diet, turn out, and free longeing, and a little light play pokies online australia riding, Xan has kept his range of motion.  Often he wants to do a racing lap around the pasture when first turned out.  A typical Arab, he does it with his tail up, looking as if he has all his flags flying.  People are surprised to hear he is now twenty five.  He also likes to play with his pasture pals, most of whom are larger and younger.  I am very grateful that System Saver exists to help maintain Xan’s health and mobility into old age.

Donkey with Cushings disease and laminitis

SHRIMP
the "Miracle Donkey!"

Shrimp, our 25-year-old donkey, has been on System Saver since Dec 10,2006 when she was close to dying at the Cornell Equine Hospital, in spite of 3+ weeks of intense care and treatments.  By Dec 16, her appetite perked up and we no longer had to syringe food into her just to keep her alive.  She took a huge forward step with the addition of System Saver, and not quite a year later, she is healthy, happy and moving freely despite the laminitis, Cushing's disease and hoof problems that had plagued her last year.

Rocky Mt Horse with heaves and arthritis

eaglehdsm_v2EAGLE

Along with his partial blindness and arthritis in his hock (old injury), Eagle, my 24-year-old Rocky Mt gelding, was rapidly having to struggle harder just to breathe due to COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, or "heaves").  In spite of strong medication, he was coughing and wheezing more and more, and we were thinking that it was nearly time to begin the intensive, expensive and only partially helpful treatments of steroids and inhalation therapy.  We were hoping that the System Saver would help with his arthritis, and hoped it might have some effect on his heaves, but WOW!  We did not expect what happened - which is such a change in him that he no longer takes the medication which was necessary every day, rarely coughs, and in fact, most people would not even recognize that he is a "heavey" horse.

Oldenburg with EMP

beth__gstaad_v1GSTAAD

More than a year ago, my Oldenburg X, Gstaad seemed to be having a problem.  His regular vet was in the "let's-wait-and-see-what-happens" mode but just as a mother "knows" that there's something wrong with her child, sometimes a horse owner also "knows" when there's a problem. So I called in another vet who mentioned the dreaded initials: EPM (equine protozoal myeloencehalitis). He took a blood sample that went out to the University of California.  Results came back indicating that Gstaad not only had the disease but his chance of surviving were 50:50.

It took two rounds of Marquis and casino internet a daily dose of System Saver (he's still on the System Saver) but I have my horse back...and he's better than he's ever been as my dressage partner and friend.

How did we find System Saver?  Gstaad's massage therapists, Karen Hana and her son Philip Samuels, both spoke highly of this great supplement that they not only used on their horses but they took the "people version" themselves. With very little to lose, I asked Karen to see if she could get a container for Gstaad (and later the pills for me).  He started taking the supplement with the Marquis and to this day, he gets System Saver along with his food and an immune-boosting supplement, EPIC.

It was a slow process getting Gstaad to trust his hind end again but recently he's gotten the message...and we're going better than we have ever done before.

Quarter Horse with squamous cell carcinoma
duke_v2DUKE

Duke is a 23-year-old black quarter horse who was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma around 10 years ago.  We had just gotten our own place to be together and he had been separated from a horse he loved.  Duke’s disease came back after surgery, and his oncologist recommended System Saver.  Duke has been immune-compromised, running high sugars with low white counts, ever since the onset of his illness.  He’s been on System Saver for 3 years and just got his best lab results ever! (His lady friend has also come back into his life, Dancer, a paint TWH.)

System Saver has also helped Duke with soreness after trimming.  We just used it prior to trimming and had no ouchiness the next day.  Duke is moving around the pasture so much better and has even taken up some of his old games—horsey hide and seek, and spot the tail coming out of the oak tree.

He has his on and off days. Who doesn’t at our age?  But he is a wise old soul that still teaches me something new every day.  (If he is under the shed, it is going to rain in 10-15 minutes.)  System Saver has been a Duke saver for us!

Incidentally, I have a dog with skin allergies and I have a meuralgia from sitting long shifts. We use the equine, canine and human SS on our farm and it keeps us all going!

Horse with bone spur

A few years ago, my horse was diagnosed with a bone spur on the radial carpal bone of his right knee with involvement to the radial carpal ligament. He had pain on flexion. I started System Saver at the recommendation of a friend and found improvement.  I hoped he'd return to be serviceably sound. After 8 months of rest, much to my delight, he made a complete recover. He returned to his pre-injury condition and won Long Island's Asult Equitation Classic at Old Field.

A secondary casino fr benefit that I wasn't expecting was that my horse's skin allergies also greatly improved. He no longer needs allergy injections, and for the first time has a full mane and tail the whole summer. I've had such positive results from System Saver for my horse that I am taking it now, and I'll bet you know the results. Thank you System Saver

Islandic Mare with sweet itch

OSP

My mare, Osp, an Icelandic born in Iceland, has a condition called sweet itch.  She would get open sores on her belly, legs, neck and face. We tried everything we knew to help her, but nothing helped much.  After finding out about System Saver through casino internet The Horse Journal, I decided to give it a try. Her condition very much improved after the first year -- less than half as bad. This year, she's even better. I can finally let her graze naked in the summer without all the face masks, sheets, boots, neck pieces, etc. Thank you!

Quarter Horse with sweet itch

ALLY

My horse developed Sweet Itch.  She was rubbing her mane off and had sores on her legs. I heard about System Saver through an on-line forum where people were discussing Sweet Itch. To get her to eat the powder, I put it in fruit roll-ups. She experienced major relief. She didn't stop rubbing altogether, but she was not as aggitated.

Horse with gas problems

RAT

When my horse manured, the manure was normal, but then there was a fluid. Also he was very gassy. Once I put him on System Saver, there was a marked reduction in the fluid and gas problems.

Morgan Gelding with unexplained weight loss

OPUS

My horse developed an unexplained weight loss and dull coat. I'd gradually increased his grain and hay to 2x his normal amount. And I was adding oil to maintain his weight. After 6 months of progressive weight loss, despite the increase in food and fat supplement, afer 1 week on System Saver, hay rations were back to normal. And in 2 weeks, he'd reached a good weight, his coat was shiny, and he was back to his normal rations of food. And he no longer needs the joint supplement he'd been on for years. I also used System Saver for a very sick pony with a very high fever - no dx. She began to improve in 6 hours.

Suzanne Clothier recommended it to me, and now I recommend it to other dog and horse owners all the time -- especially for unexplained or unresponsive issues.

Morgan Horse with laminitis

FARREL'S INDEPENDENCE

After my horse vet recommended System Saver, I put "Indy" on it for his Laminitis, hoping it would prevent another flare-up. He did well for three years. Then I decided to take him of it and he had another attack.  Nothing else was changed in his life, so I put him back on it. Indy has always been very itchy in the summer. He's much improved on System Saver.
