Pepsi was the dog that just couldn’t be diagnosed. His problem appeared to be a skin issue but we would later learn that he was suffering from a severe autoimmune condition that was attacking his skin, GI system and everything in between. Dermatologists, universities and alternative practitioners agreed on one thing…his case was so extreme that even symptomatic relief wasn’t working. At times he could barely hold his head up and euthanasia was the best anyone had to offer. When he began System Saver it was a last ditch effort. It took about 2-3 weeks and then things started to change. A light came back into his eyes and slowly he regained his strength and the black crust disappeared as well as the rancid smell that went with it. He became the beautiful, healthy dog he was meant to be. He remained on System Saver and lived a full and happy life until he was almost 13 years old.
